You are what you believe.

Einstein said everything is energy.  If everything is in fact energy, then our bodies, our thoughts, our visions, and all the objects in our lives are also made of energy.  I believe that our beliefs, thoughts, and expectations shape our perceptions and determine our experiences.  

 

Manifestation is a process of bringing your ideas, concepts, visions, and dreams from your inner world (your mind) into your outer world where you can experience them with your physical senses.  Because your subconscious does not know the difference between what is really happening and what you imagine to be happening, it will attract into your experience the kinds of circumstances that match what you are thinking about.  Our thoughts are like magnets.  They go out into the world and attract circumstances and events that match them.  Our emotions and desires propel our thoughts into the outer world.  The stronger the emotion, the more rapid the creation.  

 

When you are worrying about something that hasn’t happened yet, you are creating your future.  When you are thinking about possible outcomes of a future event, you are creating your future.  When you are thinking negative thoughts about yourself or your life, you are creating an image in your mind that is your reality.

 

We can begin to create the reality and experiences that we want by paying attention to our thoughts and choosing better feeling thoughts.  We can also use our imagination to create pictures in our mind of what we want to happen.  It is very important to shift our thinking to focusing on what we want rather than what we don’t want.  The Law of Attraction states that whatever you focus on is what you get.  Luckily, positive thoughts are much more powerful than negative thoughts.  One positive thought can cancel out hundreds of negative ones.  So when those negative thoughts pop into your mind, replace them with a positive statement such as an affirmation.    

 

Affirmations are positive statements that help focus your mind on creating what you want.  They are stated in the present tense so that you can visualize in your mind and feel them happening as if they were already true.  It is very important to feel in your body the feeling of success, abundance, love, perfect health, or whatever it is you want to create as if you already have it.  The feeling of already having what you want and seeing it in your inner reality draws it into your outer experience.  You are literally attracting your desire to you like a magnet.  

 

Some affirmations to say to yourself to help you create and attract positive experiences:  

"I focus on what I want, and therefore I draw into my life, experiences and objects that match my desires."

"My choices and possibilities are expanding every day."

"I am unlimited in my thinking and I can create anything that I want."

"My dreams are coming true.  My visions are becoming my reality."

 

Be open to the Universe and pleasant surprises.  You may get what you want in a different capacity…it could manifest in an even bigger and better way than you had imagined and thought possible.  Trust that you will receive whatever is perfect for you to have.  Be open, be flexible, and be excited for what is yet to come.
